Senior Awards LogEach year in the graduation program, we recognize seniors who have received scholarships;  honors admittance to colleges, universities, military academies, technical schools; and/or other  special commendations.  This is your senior’s time to shine!  Please have your senior complete the SENIORS AWARDS LOG and return it to the Main Office. 


2018-2019 KhSA UW High School Scholarship
The Khmer Student Association at the University of Washington (KhSA UW) was established in 1982 with a mission to support and inspire all young Khmer students in pursuing higher education, both on campus as well as beyond in the greater community by providing resources and empowerment through cultural pride.

This scholarship is opened to all high school seniors in the state of Washington of Khmer descent intending to attend a community college, university or trade/vocational school. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, and recipients will be recognized at KhSA's annual New Year Show, to be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2019.


A completed application must include:
1. Unofficial high school transcript
2. Letter of recommendation: we will accept up to 2 letters of recommendation; one is required, the second is optional if you choose you have another letter to support your application
3. Resume/list of activities & honors
4. Personal essay responses

Deadline for all materials is Thursday March 28th, 2019. We will not accept late applications!

One of the most efficient ways to search for scholarships to help pay for college is through scholarship search engines. These search engines allow you to search for scholarships in many different ways, and can be most helpful in finding scholarships that are individualized to meet your individual criteria.

There are many scholarships search engines out there. Please remember.... your should not have to pay to search for scholarships. If you have any questions on the legitimacy of a site, please visit the counseling office. Below are a few reputable scholarship search engines:
