Saturday Swim Lessons

Swimming lessons will be offered on Saturday mornings once the pool reopens. There will be fewer participants in classes and fewer classes offered at one time with instructors teaching out of the water on the pool deck.

Group Lessons

Beginner level participants will need an adult helper in the water to assist them as they practice.
Beginner American Red Cross levels include Parent & Child Classes, Level 1 & Level 2.

Intermediate swimmers must pass a deep water swim test. The deep water swim test includes treading water for 1 minute and swimming front stroke, with face in the water, the width of the pool. Instructors will be teaching out of the water on the pool deck.
Intermediate American Red Cross Learn to Swim Levels include Level 3 & Level 4.

Advanced American Red Cross Learn to Swim Levels Level 5 & Level 6 participants will not need to take a swim test.

Family Swim Lessons
Family swim lessons are available for family groups of two beginning level participants with one adult helper assisting them practicing skills in the water. The participants need to be 4 years of age or older. Instructors will be teaching out of the water on the pool deck.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for participants who can pass a minimum swim test and swim without a helper and for beginning participants who will need an adult helper to practice skills. The minimum swim test includes being 6 years of age, comfortably submerging their face in the water, and walking or swimming 15 yards (the width of the shallow end). Instructors will be teaching out of the water on the pool deck.
