RECREATIONAL SWIMMING INFORMATION

Water Exercise

Summer programs end August 21st. School year programs begin this fall TBA

Participants are asked to continue to social distance while in the pool and must continue to wear a mask before entering and after exiting the water.

Please note: Lockers will not be available for use. Swimmers will need to bring all belongings onto the pool deck with them. Showers and changing areas are available before entering the water and after programs, however swimmers are encouraged to bring a deck coat, sweats, bathrobe, extra towels, etc. to leave immediately after swimming from the pool deck since there is limited space in the locker rooms.
 

Water Walking
Water Walking is available for participants 13 years old and older. The number of lanes available will be dependent on other programs using the pool and can range from 2-5. Water walking lanes are located in the shallow end of the "L" shaped pool and when there is no family open swim, 2 lanes are available in the therapy pool.

 Water Walking is available during various weekday and Saturday times. Lane reservations can be made for individuals or groups of two swimmers. You can view lane availability and register for Water Walking by going to the registration link.

Lap Swimming
Lap Swimming is available for participants 13 years old and older. The number of lanes available will be dependent on other programs using the pool and can range from 2-5. Lap Swimming lanes are 25 yards in length and will usually be located across the deep end of the "L" shaped pool.

Lap Swimming is available during various weekday and Saturday times. Lane reservations can be made for individuals or groups of two swimmers. You can view lane availability and register for Lap Swimming by going to the registration link.

Family Open Swim
Family swim is a recreational time open for families and community members to enjoy the water.

Children under 6 years old and all non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult. Those in floatation devices are considered non-swimmers. There is a maximum of 2 non-swimmers per adult in the water who must stay within an arms reach of their adult. Children 5 years of age and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Children under 13 years old must be accompanied onsite by an adult.

 Participants are asked to continue to social distance from other individuals and groups who are also participating in pool programs.

Swim participants 5 years and older are expected to wear masks before entering and upon exiting the water.

Family Open Swim is available during various weekday and Saturday times. The number of admissions for Family Open Swim will be dependent on additional programs also using the pool.
